We invite you to host both your ceremony and reception at Althorp. Equally, if you are planning a church wedding, we welcome you and your guests to enjoy exclusive use of the House for your wedding day and night, while hosting your reception here.
We are able to hold civil ceremonies in any of the following five magnificent State Rooms: The Picture Gallery, the State Dining Room, the Great Room, the Saloon or the Marlborough Room. Each of these has its own style, history and character, and caters to a varying number of guests, so you can be sure to find the ideal setting for your ceremony.
Althorp presents an intimate atmosphere for your reception through its range of elegant, luxurious and sumptuously furnished rooms. Marquees can also be erected on the lawns next to the House, when catering for a more lavish affair. Your private guests can take advantage of the spacious House and Grounds for a truly splendid occasion. Our magnificent bedrooms can accommodate the bride and groom, and more than 50 of their family and special guests.
